What is Art-In-Time?
Art-In-Time is a Fine-Art Gallery that was established in 2002 to promote the work of truly talented contemporary artists who create museum-quality artworks. Art-In-Time does not sell prints, giclees, or reproductions of any kind, only original and unique artworks of the utmost artistic and technical quality.
Where are we located?
The Art-In-Time Gallery is based in Houston, Texas. We are currently looking for an appropriate location where works from our artists will be permanently displayed. Until then, we encourage you to visit our virtual galleries, featuring over one hundred of our major artworks currently available for purchase. If you wish to see the paintings in person, you are invited to attend the artist exhibits that we will organize periodically in rented gallery spaces. You can also contact us to arrange for a private viewing of particular paintings.
Who are we?
The director of the Art-In-Time gallery is Michele Sawadogo, Ph.D. In addition to her commitment to Art-In-Time, Dr. Sawadogo is also a full-time Professor of Molecular Genetics, and heads a cancer research laboratory in the Houston Medical Center. Needless to say, she is a very busy person! Dr. Sawadogo's current involvement in the activities of Art-In-Time stems from her sincere belief that art, like science, is among the most important of human endeavors, and that it is time for another renaissance in art. Art-In-Time means ART IN OUR TIME FOR ALL TIME.
Interestingly, Gene Gould, currently featured by Art-In-Time, has also dedicated his life to both art and science. For further comments on this topic, please watch for our upcoming editorial on the life of artists-scientists in our Editorials & Reviews section.
